A little while later Emery joined them and I stopped paying attention. When I looked back over there 5 minutes later, I saw this:
I later asked Emery what they were doing. He said, "Sage was really upset, so I asked him if he wanted to pray about it. So we prayed that God would help him to not be mad anymore and to help him have the strength to say he was sorry for what he did wrong."
My jaw about dropped.
Do you know what this means???
This means that my children actually listen to me.
And not only do they listen to me, but Emery is applying what Jim and I are trying to teach him.
It was one of the high points of the weekend in my mind! :D

What a phenomenal blessing! God is good - and so are a certain set of parents!
