What a Chef!

I need to brag on Brett a little bit. She made homemade chicken pot pies for dinner. She made and rolled out the crust without any supervision. She also laid out the crusts and crimped them.

I meant to get a photo of them before we started eating.

But, what can I say? We were hungry!

Brett is becoming quite the homemaker. I tell her all the time she's not allowed to get married and leave until she has Indigo and Jade completely trained to take her place! :)

She did want me to share with everybody that lard definitely makes the best pie crust. It seems she discovered that because Hewitt can't have butter!
