Jade Has a Boo Boo

One of the children was cutting up some food for Jade. Jade needed some more, so the person (who shall remain nameless because he/she feels terrible about it) left the knife on the table. Before the child returned, Jade had picked up the knife and cut the palm of her hand.

It was a pretty good cut (but didn’t require stitches), so we cleaned it out thoroughly and bandaged it up.

Of course Jade kept ripping off all the bandaging.

So now she’s wearing a sock on her hand with safety pins attaching it to her shirt or pajama sleeves. She hates it. But at least it works.

Hopefully the cut will heal quickly!
