I recently updated our goat milk soap website and have decided to run a contest.
Here is how it is going to work:
Visit http://www.goatmilkstuff.com/ and look around.
Pick your top 3 soaps that you like best.
Come back to this blog entry and list your 3 favorite soaps in the comments section of this blog entry.
We will take all the entries and have a drawing for the winner on October 15th. If you win, you will receive your three favorite scents. Make sure you leave a way for me to contact you in the comments section, or check back on October 15th to see if you won.
You can have extra entries in the contest if you find any typos or incorrect links or anything else that needs to be fixed on the website. Just put those in a comment on this blog too and you'll get your name entered for every mistake you find.

I loved visiting your blog. I think deep down I would love to live the simple life just as you are!
Thanks so much! I love my life too! (at least most of the time ;-)
Jim and I spent 3 years living in the inner-city when Jim taught at a charter school for inner city youths. I can remember one day I borrowed a book from the library abuot raising chickens at home. The librarian actually LAUGHED at me!
But that's ok. Just because she didn't want chickens did not deter me! :D
Although I didn't get my chickens in that house, I've got them now - and I did a lot of reading and learning while I was there that helped prepare me (sort of) for this life!
The simple life is not always easy, but it is awesome!
And I think your blog is a great idea. We love music here and sing all the time. The oldest 3 take piano lessons, and Brett & Emery just started violin lessons.
It's all noise all the time around here! LOL

I like Lavender, Oatmeal milk and honey and vanilla. I would also like to purchase a few bars and was wondering what kind of payments y'all took. I normally only use paypal when I'm shopping online.
I would love to try the Black Raspberry, Lemon, and Pink Sugary. They all sound really good!
I found you on the SITS blog and thought I'd drop by and say hi. As I clicked on the goat milk soap link my three favorites are Lilac, Purity Scrub, and Pink Sugary.
Can hardly wait for some of your new scents! I've used goat milk soap before and I LOVE it!
Wow, I love the scents you chose. I have made soap in the past (from a base and just scented, tinted and shaped it). The goat milk concept is great!
I love the idea of lemon, oatmeal milk & honey, and coconut.
Oh, and the strawberry bargain works fine, but you get a user error message of userid not set for the brownsugarbargain, watermelon and bargain soaps links. Not sure what causes that!
Also, in the about us when you list jobs, the second one states just "soap" -- did you mean "mix the soap?"
Great idea!
Oh how nice. Homeade.I think i would love Oatmeal, Milk and honey. Purity scrub and also Lavender. I love homeade soap. Thanks for letting me play:) And you can post a comment to my blog to get in touch with me
Jenn - they ARE all really good! :D
We go around sniffing them all the time. LOL
Marla - you can use paypal in the shopping cart. :D

These look awesome! I would love to win them & give them as Christmas presents to my MIL & Grandmas.
I think they would like: oatmeal, milk, & honey; pink sugary; and purity. I didn't even know you could make soap out of goat's milk (not that I would know what to do with goat's milk :) ).
Michelle - thanks for finding those mistakes - I fixed them. You'll get extra entries. And yes, we use "soap" as a verb in our house as well as a noun. But I'll change that to make it more clear to others.
We have 7 little monkeys, great to someone who beat us! My favorite scents would have to be the oatmeal, milk and honey, rosemary and mint, and the cider press. I'm a little country envious, although could not give up my close by target.
Congrats on being a featured blogger at Secret in the Sauce and thank you so much for your generosity in hosting this contest! My three favorite scents are Black Raspberry, Pink Sugary, and Oatmeal Milk and Honey.

I think I would like Pink Sugary, Rosemary Mint, and Vanilla. I love using homemade soaps.
Coconut, Vanilla and Pink Sugary are right up my alley! Oh they look so yummy laid out like that!
I am so glad you were on SITS because I never would have found you otherwise; your blog is definitely a keeper for me!
I'm super excited about the Rosemary Mint, Lemon, and Lavender. Best of luck and happiness to you and your goat milk soaps.
hugs,
kat
Heard about your contest at SITS; very cool living/working with the goats!
My 3 favorite scents are Oatmeal, Lavender, and Cider Press.
I like coconut, vanilla and oatmeal/milk/honey, sounds like a milkshake. I dont think customs/quarantine would let this soap through to Australia,(not sure due to milk product) but if I win, I will gift them to a USA friend.
I put your contest in my contest list on my blog
My favorite three would be Oatmeal, milk & honey, Vanilla and then Coconut.
I bet they are amazing.
:)
Feel free to comment on my blog!
I like the black raspberry, the rosemary mint and the fuji island soaps. Please enter me. I would like to try this soap.
oh my they all look good, but I think I like the vanilla, lemon, and black raspberry best!
Oooh, I love goat milk soap! I have one little one with eczema, so we usually try to keep her using it.
If I am selfish, I would choose the lavender, vanilla or cider press. Ari would like the lavender or oatmeal milk & honey... or anything green.
Thanks for having the giveaway!

Oh, it would HAVE to be lavender, rosemary mint and vanilla! Sorry, but you are such a good proofreader that I couldn't find any mistakes:) I loved the pictures of the goats!
Coconut, lavender and lemon would be my top choices. We left suburbia a few years ago and it was the best decision. I love my chickens. Every little feather on their head. Love how they follow me wherever I go. Hoping to add a donkey to the mix soon. Pref. a paint. Wonderful blog. And wonderful soap. I'd love to venture into goat cheese some day.
Rosemary mint would be my absolute favorite followed closely by oatmeal, milk & honey and ocean. Neat stuff!!
I like the sound of the Purity Scrub,Vanilla, and Lavender!

Oh how divine!
Lilac, lavender and black raspberry.
Wow, they would make great ice cream flavours! I have a one track mind about ice cream at the moment.
You're up north from me, I lived in Roma for four years, and in Brisbane and Mackay. :)
Hi~
My favorites are Cider Press, Coconut, and Vanilla. I enjoy reading your blog...we are also living the country life here in Iowa although I only have one child. Keep up the good work!

I'm so glad I found your blog. I love the idea of the simple life and deep down I've always had the yearning to live it. I don't know that I ever will. Finding myself single again, I keep hoping that I'll meet that special someone with dreams like mine.
All your soaps sound great. I'd choose Lavender, Coconut and vanilla.
I just found you today - I actually called you this afternoon to ask some questions about goats milk, etc. Anyway, my fav soaps are purity scrub, lavender, ocean! I really hope I win!!

Found one typo: On the main page of the goat milk soap you used the word "bubby" in the description and I think you may have been going for bubbly. :)
My favorites are: Lilac - my favorite flower, Black raspberry - my all-time favorite fruit and Cider Press 'cause it's just that time of year.
I love your blog! We're homesteaders, too. I was raised in a big family and reading about all the love and chaos in your home really brings back memories, so thank you!
I've loved reading everyone's comments!
The drawing is getting close - only 3 days to go! :)
